The Company

SAMI was founded in 1970 in Bibbiena.

Initially specialised in the construction of forklift trucks, over time it gained important experience in the production of project-based metalwork and then evolved into a company specialising in the design and construction of machinery for the building industry.

At the end of the ’80s, SAMI was one of the first companies in the world to build horizontal silos, further improving them in the ’90s by installing a material batching system with deductible electronic weighing.

Attention to the customer’s needs and continuous investment in research and development led the company to launch the first mobile concrete batching plant on the market, which was fully transportable and could be installed without a crane, and was followed by other mobile concrete plants equipped with a forced and continuous mixer.

“Mobility” and “quality” have always been the main characteristics that distinguish us and have led us to become a point of reference in the construction sector, and not only, all over the world.
